A 2026 release from Amouage, composed by perfumer Pierre Negrin as part of The Essences collection’s Second Trilogy, Remain is framed by the house as an olfactory expression of the value of time, crafted through a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oakwood barrels over a six month maturation process. It opens with sacred Hojari frankincense, mandarin, pimento berry, and bergamot, moves into a luminous floral heart of Madonna lily, ylang-ylang, juniper, and jasmine, and settles into a dense, long-lasting base of ambergris, guaiac wood, patchouli, vanilla, and tonka bean. At 30 percent perfume oil concentration, it sits closer to an extrait than a standard EDP.
