Inspired by Louis Vuitton Orage (composed by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, whose name means “storm” in French), this captures a photorealistic petrichor, the scent of rain-soaked earth just after a storm passes. It opens on bright bergamot and grapefruit, then a soft, radiant heart of iris, hedione, and pepper adds a green, dewy lift. The base grounds it in Java vetiver and patchouli, earthy but never dirty, brightened rather than darkened, closing on a clean white musk. Natural, atmospheric, and quietly masculine.
